We turned to a Martin Wallace design for our second game. Doctor Who: The Card Game is all to do with the Doctor and his companions trying to defend various locations from attack by various baddies, with the aid of sonic screwdrivers, canine helpers (K9) and jammie dodgers. Mark W managed to double the size of his reserve and so was able to ensure he only ever handed dross cards to Nige. Nige established lots of locations but was finding it difficult to defend and I piled lots of enemy cards to attack him. When we got to the end of the game, I had managed to free one of my four point locations and that gave me enough to get a sneaky win.
