On the other table, Steve, Nige and Guy decided to try Ted Alspach's Castles of Mad King Ludwig, which is a sort of sequel to Suburbia. They all enjoyed this very much and thought it was an improvement on the earlier game. The master builder mechanism where he sets the price he wants for the various rooms is very good and the scoring is not quite as convoluted as in Suburbia. Nige emerged as the winner but I'm not sure if that makes him the most skilful player or the maddest player - probably both!
