We finished off with the very light Sushi Express, a push your luck dice game from Michael Schacht. The game is played over several rounds with players trying to win the best customer cards. At the start of the round, players make a guess as to how high they can roll two dice, the higher the guess the more likely you are to roll first and the further you are able to move your sushi van, if your dice roll is successful. Once a player has made a successful roll and moved their van, all other players left in the round get to move their vans without a dice test. Everyone who moves past the Sushi Express tile takes a customer as they move past from the choice available. Once the deck of customer cards is exhausted, players count up their points from the cards collected and whoever has most points wins.

Mark G surprised us all in this game, as his normally very reliable dice-rolling skills deserted him on a number of occasions and this meant he missed out on quite a few customers. Phil and I turned out to be equally adept at serving our customers and both ended up with the same score. However, as I had a couple of action cards left, whereas Phil had none, I was able to break the tie and claim the win.
