After a delicious tea (thanks Nige), we just had time for a shortish game so we gave The Boss a try. This is a game of deduction, bluff and the odd gamble in trying to make off with the illicit gangster spoils from US cities, while avoiding being shot, hospitalized or thrown in jail.

On the first round, I managed to misdirect Mark W into outbidding me in a city where the spoils were a visit to the local infimary. However, after a slow start, Steve came into his own and did enough to win after four rounds. Everyone thought this was good fun and Mark W even wanted to play again straight away. A great end to a really fun day.
